Policies
Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 30 days prior to arrival. A separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of CA$1,000.00. Instead of directly charging for the damage deposit, a hold will be placed on the payment card on file upon arrival. It will be automatically released on 7 days after check-out, provided no charges apply.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our guests as best as possible. Please review our cancellation policy below:
All cancellation requests and confirmations must be done through email at bookings@hawkhouse.ca
Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus a $50 administrative fee.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 13 days of the check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.
No-Show Policy: Guests who do not arrive for their reservation without prior notice will forfeit the entire booking amount.
Holiday Exception: We have a separate cancellation policy for Holiday Times (Christmas, New Years, Family Day, Easter) which requires a 90 day notice prior to the booking date to be eligible for a 100% refund, minus a $100 administrative fee. Zero refunds will be applicable for Holiday Times within 90 days prior to your stay. Date changes will not be acceptable within 90 days prior to your stay.
Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or other emergencies that prevent travel to Mt. Washington, we will work with guests to reschedule their stay or provide a partial refund at our discretion.
Changes to Reservation: Changes to the reservation dates are subject to availability and must be made at least 14 days prior to the original check-in date. A $50 administrative fee may apply.

Bank transfer Payment Policy
To secure your reservation at Hawks House, please review our payment policy below:
1. Deposit : A 50% deposit of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation to secure your stay. This deposit is non-refundable unless cancellation terms apply (see our Cancellation Policy).
2. Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to your check-in date.
3. Payment Method: All payments must be made either via e-transfer to bookings@hawkhouse.ca or through our payment app Square . Please include your booking reference number and check-in date in the e-transfer message for accurate processing.
4. Reservation Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit is received. A confirmation email with your reservation details will be sent to you.
5. Late Payments: If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and apply our cancellation policy.
6. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $300 may be required and is due with your final payment. This will be returned within 7 days of check-out, pending inspection of the property.
